Recently, several kindergarten students in Taiwan were found to have drug residues such as "Barbiturates" and "BZD Benzodiazepines" in their bodies, causing panic in society. If parents want to know whether their children are exposed to risks, testing the concentration of barbiturates in young children's bodies is the most immediate and critical way.
Leeuwenhoek Biotech, a spin-off business of National Taiwan University and National Taiwan University Hospital, and the National Taiwan University Institute of Forensic Medicine have joined forces to launch a testing service specifically for young children starting today. Leeuwenhoek's technologies were all transferred from the R&D team of National Taiwan University. Most of the founding members are scientists and doctors from National Taiwan University and National Taiwan University Hospital. They have precise and professional drug and molecular detection technologies, and have assisted universities and hospital research institutes across Taiwan in testing nearly 10,000 specimens. In addition to being researchers, many of our team members are also parents of children. Therefore, they can feel more deeply that such an incident should not happen to any child. They are determined to stand up and work with parents to protect the health of Taiwan's next generation!
